About the Sixpence Bracelet
Sixpence Bracelet. Two tartan heart discs, a silver-tone stag’s head and an old silver sixpence at each end – a lucky Scottish gift for a bride.
About Louise Pringle
Louise Pringle grew up visiting antique fairs, car boot sales and auctions with her collector parents, then studied textile design at Heriot-Watt. Her signature look combines vintage finds – charms, keys, cufflinks, old coins – with tartan and crystal, up-cycling old jewellery into eclectic new pieces. Because she works with original vintage material, no two pieces are ever the same.
Caring for costume jewellery
Vintage and costume pieces are best kept dry. Put them on after perfume, hairspray and lotions, avoid water, and store them flat in their gift box so charms and chains don’t tangle. A gentle wipe with a soft, dry cloth keeps metals and tartan discs looking their best.
