About the Scottish Sea Glass Bracelet
Scottish Sea Glass Bracelet. A stretch bracelet of 25 pieces of seafoam Scottish sea glass with complementary frosted aquamarine glass beads.
About Scottish Sea Glass
Each piece is designed and made in Scotland by Gaynor Hebden-Smith. Sea glass – also known as mermaid’s tears or sea jewels – is glass that has been naturally tumbled smooth by the sea, lochs and rivers. Every piece of Scottish Sea Glass jewellery uses genuine sea glass gathered from Scotland’s beaches, from Edinburgh to the Shetland Isles, so no two pieces are ever the same.
Caring for sea glass jewellery
Sea glass has already spent years being tumbled by the sea, so it is naturally tough. Even so, avoid knocks against hard surfaces, take your jewellery off before swimming or bathing, and keep cord and elastic pieces dry. Wipe silver chains and fittings with a soft cloth, and store each piece separately so the glass and chains don’t tangle or scratch.
