About Whisky Frames

Whisky Frames hand craft rustic photo frames in their workshop just outside Edinburgh, using American oak barrels that are no longer usable by the Scotch whisky industry. They finish their frames with Harris Tweed from the Outer Hebrides, paying homage to Scotland’s whisky and cooperage heritage.

Using your whisky barrel frame

The frame is front loading: simply undo the copper screws, lift the Perspex and slip your photo in. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from damp and direct heat. Because every frame is made from reclaimed, weathered oak, the grain, marks and exact size of yours will be unique.
